Can Colon Hydrotherapy be Used as an Alternative Colonoscopy Prep?
Over the years, I have had clients come to my practice to use colon hydrotherapy as an alternative colonoscopy prep.
This is because many people have an aversion to drinking the colonoscopy preparation drink mixture that is typically prescribed, which is usually considered unpleasant.
When one client asked her medical doctor if there was an alternative preparation for her colonoscopy, he suggested a two-day protocol: she was to do a series of two colon hydrotherapy sessions on consecutive days, along with bone broth fasting and an Epsom salt flush.
The client did as instructed.
After the colonoscopy was finished, the gastroenterologist asked her if she had taken the usual drink mixture prior to the procedure. She was nervous to tell him she had not, but decided to be honest and shared what she had done.
She then inquired about why he asked.
He said that her colon was exceptionally clean and that was rare.
Consult with your doctor to determine if colon hydrotherapy is suitable for you as a preparation for your next colonoscopy.
