1, 2, 3 Easy Holiday Herbal Tea
I love making tea from fresh herbs. It is so easy to do and the flavors will make your taste buds sing.
This holiday tea is warm and cozy for a winter day.
Cozy Holiday Herbal Tea
3-5 slices fresh tumeric
2 slices fresh ginger
1 tsp dandelion root
1/2 tsp licorice root
2 cardamom pods
1 tsp cleavers
small piece of nutmeg
1/2 – 1 cinnamon stick
optional 1 tsp cacao powder
1. Crush and grind your spices with a mortar and pestle.
2. Add to tea pot and pour hot water over it.
3. Steep for 20 min or longer. The longer you steep it, the richer the flavors will be. You can reuse the herbs 2 or 3 times for good tea.
Cheers!
